Note to self (and anyone else crazy enough to do this): DO NOT wear 4” platform sandals to walk around the city!

So, last Friday I went into the city with Tiff (or sometimes I like to call her Tiffy- haha), had quite an adventure, went to my first clubbing experience, and met a guy who I’ve fallen hard for! (Seriously, this is the hardest that I’ve ever fallen for a guy—*sigh*) Best fun I’ve had in awhile!

We walked to her work place with Time Warner, and I got to meet several people and drop off my resume (keeping my fingers crossed) for an intership possibility to do website stuff and computer graphics (better make good use out of that college education!)

Afterwards, we walked around the city. I got to taste my first Smoochies. Great stuff- especially if you’re like me and lactose intolerant. I had Mounds, Tiff got Almonds ‘n’ Creme.

Afterwards, we just walked around to random stores like Barnes and Nobles, We quickly changed, walked around to more random stores- like Anthropolgy, Coach, Banana, etc. and went to dinner at Spice, a Thai restaurant. The Lychee Thai iced tea is really good! (for those of you who are wondering) After taking like an hour and a half to eat, we were finally on our way. Since we’ve been walking around the whole day, my feet were killing me! We eventually got to an NYU lounge, where Tiff and I chilled and relaxed for a good hour, while doing our makeup and talking.

At 9:30ish, it was time to go to Go (haha). We went outside, where we met Jim, Tiff’s friend who was throwing his birthday party at the club. Tiff and I eventually got to the club, but we had to wait like 45 minutes. We weren’t too sure if we’d make it in at the rate we were going! When we got inside, we immediately saw some of Tiff’s friends and started the night dancing. (This is when I met the guy ! And was dancing with him for a bit…Yeah, he’s friends with Tiff, and she’s been telling me about him since last semester, and I’ve finally met him!) After dancing for a while, I had to sit… my feet were still killing from earlier in the day! I lost Tiff after a few minutes though, so I was asked to hang out with the guy. I found Tiff after like 5 minutes. We then started to dance again (with the guy this time). At first he was dancing with this other girl, and then this “blonde-bimbo-britney spears-wannabe-but-not-even- pretty-what’s that smell?-skank” comes out of nowhere and starts to dance with him. Then she moves onto another guy, so I thought I was clear to go, as soon as she sees me, she freakin’ physically pushes me out of the freakin’ way! WTF?! Seriously, if he weren’t there and I didn’t have to act like a lady, and I wouldn’t be arrested, I would have freakin’ knocked her head off her scrawny little neck! I kept on giving Tiff the look, you know, the one where only bestest buds know what you’re thinking without having to say anything. And I would also look at him, and we would make eye contact, but I would spazz and look away. So, I think he knew that something was up…

At about 1 am, Tiff decided to head back to her friend’s dorm. Good thing too… because he asked if we needed company to walk back… so he walked us back, even though it was out of his way (sigh- such a gentleman!) Unfortunately, when we were waiting to cross the street, he holds his hand up and loe and behold- a phone number. Why can’t I have enough “bawls” to give him my number?! Anyways…we had a good loooooong talk while we walked back. (though I do regret about some of the subjects we spoke about… my bad ) But I’m such a coward! I didn’t give him mine or get his number! So, this entire time, Tiff, Diana, and I have been trying to think of ways where I can meet up with him so that I can, will, and must do this!

Well… that’s it for now… if anyone has any suggestions… feel free!
